Why is PPE essential in the laboratory?

Safetouch® Heavy / Long Nitrile Gloves
With their 290 mm cuff and textured fingertips, Safetouch® gloves offer excellent resistance to chemicals. Coverfeel® nitrile gloves (Touch / Care / Long)

WeePro® Labo coveralls (Micromium®)
Specially designed for cleanrooms, WeePro® Labo coveralls are made from Micromium®, a material with very low contamination levels. Available in sterile and non-sterile versions, they feature triple Easytear packaging for safe donning in controlled environments. Classified as Category III PPE, they offer comfort, ergonomic design and protection against contamination.
Surgical gowns (PP / microporous)
Available in a range of weights, with either a zip or button fastening, Medicom hygiene gowns provide effective protection against minor splashes. Practical guide: Which PPE for which laboratory risk?
Every risk requires a tailored response: there is no one-size-fits-all solution. When dealing with chemicals, opt for EN 374-certified nitrile gloves worn with an FFP2 or FFP3 mask. For biological agents, choose an FFP mask and a Micromium®Category III coverall.
