About the job

The Sales Forecasting Manager collects and challenges the sales forecasts as accurately as possible in order to optimise the production, supply and stock management processes. They are at the heart of the Supply Chain organisation to secure the level of customer service and costs.

Generally reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, they work closely with the Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Production and Finance departments.

Missions

  • Provide a reliable short, medium and long term demand projection based on statistical models and taking into account promotional periods, product seasonality, new product launches and external factors that may influence the forecast
  • Conduct annual, monthly, weekly and daily analyses of historical sales performance and adjust forecasts accordingly
  • Consolidate information from the various departments, lead sharing meetings and report to management
