Export Manager for the UK, Ireland and Benelux (M/F)

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Business development & area management

  • Define and implement the sales strategy across both regions.
  • Expand our customer base through our local distributors and partners.
  • Identifying new opportunities: the medical sector, the industrial sector, and public/private hospitals.

2. Support and monitoring of distributors

  • Managing distributors in the UK, Ireland and the Benelux: objectives, sales monitoring, quarterly action plans.
  • Conduct regular business reviews.
  • Increase prescriptions among targeted end-users.

3. Tender management and compliance

  • Prepare and coordinate tender documents in collaboration with internal teams (Quality, RA, Supply).
  • Monitor the market for local specifications, trends and customer expectations.

4. Internal interaction (France)

  • Work closely with the Customer Service departments (orders, supply, samples), Quality & Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, and the sales teams for France and Export.
  • Attend internal meetings (mainly in French).

5. Reporting & tools

  • Regularly update Salesforce (opportunities, visits, forecasts).
  • Monitoring KPIs via Power BI.
  • Regular reporting to the European Sales Director.

Desired Profile

1. Language skills (essential)

  • English: minimum C1 level (fluent / professional).
  • Dutch: minimum B2 level required.
  • French: a level enabling fluent internal communication (B2/C1).

2. Experience

  • At least three years’ experience in exports, international business development or distributor management.
  • Experience in the medical devices, PPE or related sectors.
  • Familiarity with regulated environments and tendering processes.

3. Technical and soft skills

  • Expertise in international trade negotiations.
  • Diligence, independence and strong organisational skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer service.
  • Proficiency with digital tools: CRM (Salesforce), Microsoft Office, reporting, Power BI.
